“The CCC Family Fall Festival is always a wonderful time where families can get together and enjoy the typical activities and treats of the fall season,” said Executive Director Polly Peace. “Our enrollment is largely made up of working families who, due to their busy schedules, do not get to spend a lot of time at home."
"CCC then largely becomes the 'neighborhood' for their children," said Peace. "The Family Fall Festival is a great opportunity for neighbors to get together, watch their children at play and enjoy lots of fun activities. CCC staff volunteer to work at the festival so there is a great sense of community throughout the day.”
The festival features puppet shows, a pumpkin picking patch, crafts, homemade doughnuts, a visit from Red Riding Hood, the "Enchanted Woods" and more.
Admission is $30 per family. Entry and food are cash only.
The Country Childrens Center "Farm" at 466 Cross River Road will host the festival from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
