Easter Egg Hunts Planned In Katonah, Bedford Village

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The town of Bedford's Recreation and Parks Department has scheduled two Easter egg hunts for this week.

The first is set for Tuesday, March 22 at the John Jay Homestead in Katonah. It will include a performance by magician David Levitan at 10:50 a.m., the egg hunt itself at 11:15 a.m. and another magic gathering at 11:30 a.m.

A second gathering, known as a "flashlight egg hunt" is set for Wednesday, March 23 in Bedford Village. It will be held at Bedford Village Memorial Park, with an arrival time of 7:45 p.m. The hunt itself is set for 7:55 p.m. The flashlight hunt has a required registration and comes with a fee, which is $5 for residents and $6 for non-residents. Attendees are asked to bring flashlights or headlamps.
