Buried In Blue To Rock Bedford's Katonah Park

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- Blues, funk and R&B band Buried In Blue is set to rock Katonah Park on Friday night at 7 p.m.

The concert is part of the Bedford Department of Recreation and Parks concert series.

Buried in Blue guitarists Tom Dowd and Kevin McSweeney have rocked Westchester County for more than 20 years, according to the band's Facebook page. The group recently added vocalist Jaynie D'Agostino, bassist Barry "Buzzy" Garriola and percussionist Chris Nicolo.

"We play the songs you love with high energy and with a fresh feel," the band says on its Facebook page. "We don’t try to copy the originals. We bring out the best in them."

Concertgoers are invited to bring their blanket, chairs, your picnic dinner and to dance and sing the night away.
