Bedford Septo Aims To Fund School Programs Through Garden Party

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Bedford Central School District Special Education Parent-Teacher Organization held a garden party for parents and staff members on Tuesday evening at Crabtree's Kittle House Restaurant in Chappaqua.

Proceeds will be used to fund programs such as Open to the Challenge," an elementary school program, social/recreational programs for children, special needs awareness and parent support meetings.  

"This (SEPTO) is a real act of love for us as parents," said Millie Bush, co-chair of Bedford's SEPTO. 

One of the programs funded by the garden party proceeds will be a presentation on "How To Effectively Advocate For Your Child," offered to parents on Monday, Nov. 3 by the Westchester Jewish Community Center.
