BEDFORD, N.Y. -- A workshop to facilitate gathering input from Bedford residents about the town's priority issues assets and challenges, as it begins planning for the future is set for Jan. 13 at the Bedford Presbyterian Church and Feb. 3 at the Katonah Library.
Pace University’s Land Use Law Center will organize people into small groups to collect input and facilitate the dialogue.
The Town will be updating its Comprehensive Plan, which describes the community’s current conditions and provides guidance for future growth and preservation.
The Comprehensive Plan is the town of Bedford's document governing land uses. Zoning laws are intended to be crafted to reflect a Comprehensive Plan, and the town's was last updated in the early 2000s.
The Bedford Presbyterian Church is located at 44 Village Green, Bedford.
The Katonah Library is located at 26 Bedford Road, Katonah.
