Bedford Historical Society Will Engage In Day Of Service In Honor Of 9/11

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- Bedford Historical Society will participate in a community-wide "Day of Service" in remembrance of Sept. 11, 2001.

The Bedford Historical Society's Court House, at 615 Old Post Road, will be open for personal reflection from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11.

The Society's Court House and Memorial Garden will be open for reflection from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11. The Bedford Fire Department is collecting winter coats and non-perishable food items and the Bedford Presbyterian Church is having a blood drive on Thursday as part of the "Day of Service."

Everyone is welcome to come and visit, sit and reflect.
