Bedford Free Library Invites Kids, Teens To Enter Poetry Contest

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The Bedford Free Library announced that it will hold its annual poetry contest this April. Children and teenagers from ages 6 to 18 are eligible to enter.

The contest is meant to coincide with National Poetry Month. It is also sponsored by The Friends of the Library.

The contest includes a $10 entrance fee. The deadline to drop off submissions is on April 30 at 2 p.m. The library adds that winners will be announced at its Ice Cream Social, which is scheduled for May 26 at 3:30 p.m.
