The free event will discuss ideas for a “zero-waste” future, Midge Iorio, executive director of Bedford 2020, said in a press release.
Experts will also discuss what to do with items that cannot be recycled such as electronics, pharmaceuticals and potentially toxic household chemicals.
The first 125 people to register will be eligible to win a free Earth Machine Composter, which composts food and yard waste.
“Beyond Waste” will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Rippowam Cisqua School, 439 Cantitoe St.
