The trampoline park is the newest entertainment and recreational offering for 333 North Bedford Road, a complex that is also known as The Park. Other tenants include Grand Prix New York, Saw Mill Club East and Westchester Mixed Martial Arts and Fitness.

Rockin' Jump is a California-based company that franchises, according to Scott Rose, who is a franchisee with partners Andrew Leahy and Alex Byall.

Rose, who lives in Chappaqua with his wife and three children, made a career change. He previously worked in finance for 15 years and as an attorney for nine years.

Rose and his partners are also Rockin' Jump's first East-Coast franchisee and their territory includes the Northeast. The Mount Kisco location is the first for the trio, according to Rose, with two locations in New Jersey and Maryland under development.

Rockin' Jump's recreation offerings and varied. They include a large trampoline room of 4,000 square feet, according to Rose, along with an enormous foam pit, two dodgeball courts and two basketball hoops.

Rose explained that Rockin' Jump caters to different ages groups of children. For example, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings there are sessions geared towards tots, which he likened to a Mommy and Me program. The basketball hoops are also different sizes, he explained.

Asked about the proximity to the other recreation and entertainment places, Rose described his business as “very complementary and not competitive" and noted that they have slightly different audiences. Additionally, Rose suggested that families can split their time among his business and its neighbors.

“We think it’s a great draw everybody," Rose said.

Mount Kisco Mayor Michael Cindrich, who was on hand for a ribbon cutting at the grand opening, sees Rockin' Jump's presence as positive, calling it a “good use for the property.”

Asked about the presence of multiple entertainment and recreation spaces in the complex, Cindrich replied, "as long as they’re not competing with each other, it’s great.”

Rockin' Jump's location, which is 18,500 square feet, meets criteria that few other sites can, according to Rose. For example, he noted that high ceilings help to prevent head injuries.

Rockin' Jump previously held a soft opening a week earlier for family and friends, according to Rose.

Asked about feedback so far, Rose said it's “fabulous” and “better than we could have hoped.”
