End Could Be Near For Employer-Provided Health-Care Insurance In New York

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – The days of employer-provided health insurance in New York City, Westchester County and other parts of the United States are pretty much over, according to a recent marketwatch.com report.

Rick Lindquist, president of Zane Benefits in Utah, recently co-authored the book “The End of Employer-Provided Health Insurance: Why It’s Good for You, Your Family and Your Company,” marketwatch.com reported.

In one model Lindquist outlined in the book, some employees are giving their workers a finite amount of money each month and having them buy their own health insurance policies, according to marketwatch.com.
