I heard what I thought was a cruel joke, namely, that 60 students from Michelle Estates were being sent directly to Katonah, bypassing Increase Miller, only to find out it was true!
So now, after destroyingLES, a community center for many young families, bad enough, it appears we are following that up by breaking up nearby communities.
What realm of thinking closes K's largest, most centrally located highest rated school? What twisted logic sends Michelle Estates children to Katonah, away from friends they play town sports with, the Lewisboro Library, friends and places where their parents shop, rather than sending them to Increase Miller, and sending children from the far western portion of the town to Katonah, where many of their parents shop, use the library and have friends, and thereby keeping neighborhoods intact?
Route 35 is not dangerous enough?
Beam me up Scotty.
Shumer is an idiot. Why do we keep electing him. No one should be in office more than one term. THat was how teh founding fathers wanted it.
So Shumer wants a camera? Why so we can see if the engineer is sleeping AFTER THE ACCIDENT!!! That will solve a lot Chuck. Now we can have a crash killing innocent people and put it on youtube for everyone to see.
Metro North is at fault. I'll tell you why. There is a device in the locomotive that prevents the engineer from sleeping. But the locomotive was on the back of the train and he was operating it remotely from the front passenger car. All trains capable of being driven should have the device.
Now here is why Metro north is really guilty. In 2002 the feds ordered Metro North to identify all dangerous turns and install a device that prevents trains from speeding. They did that in many places (mostly in Long Island) but did not do so on this turn even though it is one of the worst turns in the system. Cry all you want Metro North. You are guilty of murder.
...and the Million Dollar question is:
If you know you are driving under the influence, why on Earth would you call the police? Park the car, walk home and fix it in the morning.
It like calling the police to say your friend stole all your marijuana.
